The latest introduction to the VacIon family of pumps from Agilent, the 4UHV Ion Pump Controller affords you the ability to power, control and monitor independently up to 4 ion pumps, with capacities ranging from 20 to 500 liters per second. With the new low-electrical-noise design, you are afforded the freedom to eliminate or shrink electrical noise filters in critical applications. As with all Agilent vacuum products, we are dedicated to your satisfaction by offering you a complete range of service and support options to satisfy your specific needs.
Features
- Optimized pumping speed due to auto regulation of operating voltage by the controller
- Convenient access to all elements of the vacuum system by utilizing either the analog or RS232/485 ports
- Multiple configurations available to suit your needs - whether operating one to four pumps with varying sizes, from 20 to 500 liters/second
- Applied high voltage is optimized as a function of pressure, providing more accurate pressure readings, allowing pressure measurement in the 10-10 mbar range - the UHV region
- Protect mode limits the current to protect the pump and controller.
- Cable is equipped with an interlock system which immediately shuts down the high voltage when the plug is removed from the pump
- The AC component of the HV output is reduced to a minimum, virtually eliminating the need for additional filters - especially useful for SEM applications
- Utilizes Agilent's T-plus Software
